July Review Round-Up

Summer reading slowed down significantly in July – I blame trying to finish polishing Bombshell.  Here’s what I read in July:

Double or Nothing by Peter David

  • The Double Helix series continues in book 5 of 6 with Captain Mackenzie Calhoun and Captain Jean-Luc Picard going under cover to try to track down the person who engineered the deadly virus that has been popping up all over the Alpha Quadrant for years.

Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston

  • The story follows Janie, an African-American woman in the early 20th century, from her teenage years to her 40’s as she tries to figure out love, life, and who she wants to be.
